Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant | Naos Physical and Occupational Therapy

Kellan Dedge, PTA, brings a unique blend of experience in physical therapy, education, and ministry to Naos Physical and Occupational Therapy. Originally from a small town in northern Florida, Kellan spent much of his childhood outdoors—playing basketball, home run derby with friends, fishing, and hunting. His passion for helping others and staying active eventually led him to a career in physical therapy.

Education & Professional Journey

Kellan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Florida before working as a teacher and girls’ softball coach. In 2005, he moved to Birmingham, Alabama, where he served as an Associate Recreation Manager at Hunter Street Baptist Church and later attended Beeson Divinity School at Samford University.

Feeling a calling to serve others both physically and spiritually, Kellan decided to further his education and became a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in 2012. He has since gained experience in both outpatient and home health physical therapy, developing a well-rounded approach to patient care. In 2023, he joined the team at Naos Physical and Occupational Therapy, where he enjoys helping patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their movement.

Beyond the Clinic

Kellan met his wife, Becky Dedge, in Birmingham in 2005, bonding over their shared love for theological books and pastoral teachings. They have two sons, Foster and Aiden, and as a family, they love backyard games, movie nights, and inshore fishing trips with Grandpa.

When he’s not working, Kellan enjoys lifting weights, coaching his kids' sports teams, walking with his wife, worshipping at Redeemer Community Church, and fishing on the Gulf Coast with his dad. Most of all, he values the relationships he builds with each patient at Naos, ensuring they receive compassionate, individualized care.
